The AccuCure FTIR is an innovative UV light delivery system adapted directly for use with Perkin Elmer Spectrum-GX Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR) spectrometer. It is an easily installed, non-invasive means of delivering the necessary UV light to the sample while the spectrographic measurement is operational. It operates at a user-defined wavelength, intensity, and exposure time. The module can be programmed to irradiate a dynamically changing intensity and duration to closely match a desired profile, providing accurate, repeatable results.
The AccuCure FTIR has long-life LED light banks that are independently controlled by the FTIR or a supplied software utility. The module includes a built-in radiometer that constantly monitors, controls, and displays the intensity of the light bank. Short- and long-term intensity drifts are minimized by built-in active feedback control.
The AccuCure FTIR is a USB device and has been designed from the ground up to be controlled by the AccuCure software. This feature allows the module to integrate seamlessly into a laboratory environment. Likewise, a stand-alone utility is provided for controlling the AccuCure FTIR from a Microsoft Windows XP or Vista computer. The utility allows for setting the intensity by specifying the desired wattage and includes a user-defined ramp rate and custom-defined complete light intensity profiles from an easy-to-navigate interface.
