Digital Light Lab would like to introduce a new addition to the AccuCure LightBar family, the new 23” LightBar. This LightBar provides almost 2 feet of high powered LED light with a wide beam pattern. As with all of our LightBars, the new 23” AccuCure LightBar is available in 365, 385, 405, 420, and 435nm wavelengths and can be operated with either our Manual or Intelligent controllers, in single or multi-channel configurations.

Digital Light Lab has introduced a large-scale panel UV LED illumination system. At 12” x 12”, the AccuCure Panel family of products is intended for large area UV-curing applications. The AccuCure Panel LED head offers high intensity and uniform flood UV whose output can be accurately controlled via a companion controller. The AccuCure Intelligent Controller empowers user programmability for optical intensity, time profiles, spatial profile, and trigger functionality. The controller unit may communicate to a PC or PLC via USB or Ethernet interface. The AccuCure Panel offers several different UV wavelengths including 365-nm, 385-nm, 400-nm, and 420-nm. Digital Light Lab has released the CompactCure UV LED curing systems intended for low-cost portable applications. The CompactCure family of products offers the UV LED superiority with simple ease of operation. This is accomplished by an innovative all-in-design that contains a high-powered UV LED, optics, driver, controller, and active cooling all packaged in a compact enclosure. The CompactCure offer several different UV wavelengths including 365-nm, 385-nm, 400-nm, and 420-nm. There are also two different focusing optics providing small and large UV patterns for different applications. The CompactCure UV LED curing systems also offer optional adaptors for fiber optics and liquid light guide to accommodate current arc-lamp curing system as well as spectroscopy and general fiber illumination applications.

Digital Light Lab has developed an innovative UV or visible LED illumination sources targeted for large area photo curing processes. The AccuCure Panel architecture provides radiation patterns in range of several feet. Optional sectional based control enables providing different radiation pattern at different part of the panel. Companion controllers may offer manual control or PC-based or PLC-based control. The LED heads may operate at different UV wavelengths such as 365-nm, 385-nm, 400-nm, or 420-nm.

Photo-chemists and material scientist developing UV curable material rely on analytical instruments such as Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) or Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA) for formulation and characterization activities. Digital Light Lab has developed a UV LED Accessory Kit for Perkin Elmer’s 8000/8500 Series DSCs and 8000 Series DMAs. It offers a superior accuracy, precision, and ease of use as compared to traditional Mercury-arc lamp systems. The Kit contains the UV LED illumination head, controller with trigger, control software, and mounting fixture. The UV LED Accessory Kit allows the users to dial in the UV intensity at sample and reference cells in radiometric format (i.e. mW/cm2) or in relative format (i.e. %) and to control the exposure cycle while synchronized with DMA or DSC software. Multiple UV wavelengths including 365-nm, 385-nm, 400-nm, and 420-nm are supported.

Digital Light Lab has released the latest version of their AccuCure LED Controllers with either USB or Ethernet interface. Each controller may be configured to control 1 to 8 UV LED heads operating in either continuous or pulsed mode. A companion PC software enables the users to control the intensity, exposure cycle, and pulsing parameters of each channel individually. Optionally, the controller work seamlessly with the radiometer built-in the LED head for radiometric operation and active feedback control to minimize short and long term drifts. The controllers may operate with US, Japan, or European power sources.

Controlling and monitoring multiple UV curing systems in high volume production facilities can be a challenging task. Digital Light Lab’s AccuCure systems are networkable UV LED curing systems that simplify the implementation, operation, and maintenance of UV LED curing process. Digital Light Lab has just released the Application Programming Interface (API) for the AccuCure UV LED systems. The API allows users to custom develop UV curing control/monitor software for their specific curing applications. For example, users may easily develop a centralized control software to control the wavelength, intensity, exposure cycle, and monitor the UV output at any of their UV curing stations which may be scattered throughout the production facilities. Digital Light Lab has been awarded to develop a custom UV LED curing system for US Army Ammunition production lines. Based on this contract, Digital Light Lab has modified its flagship AccuCure technology to provide an explosion-proof UV LED curing system in compliant with performance and regulatory requirements. The explosion-proof AccuCure Lightbar UV curing system enables high-speed production and a longer shelf life for the ammunition.

DigitalUV LED Curing Systems offer high-powered UV-LED based systems targeted for demanding UV curing processes such as coating and printing applications. DigitalUV systems are fully functional turnkey systems including the high-powered UV-LED head, controller, and either liquid- or air-based cooling systems. The UV-LED heads may operate at different UV wavelengths such as 365-nm, 385-nm, and 400-nm. These systems are intended for operation in laboratory or manufacturing facilities with minimal installation and maintenance requirements.

Digital Light Lab has released a 6- and 8-channel UV LED spot curing system based on their flagship AccuCure technology. The multi-channel UV LED curing system offers individual intensity and exposure cycle control on each channel in either continuous or pulsed mode. A typical system contains one to eight UV LED heads, a multi-channel controller unit, and control software. The AccuCure Spot systems are compact yet durable where they can easily be used in a laboratory or production environments. Their modular architecture empowers not only a simple single wavelength but also multiple units with single or multiple wavelengths including 365-nm, 385-nm, 400-nm, or 420-nm. The AccuCure control software communicates with the multi-channel controller via a USB interface for ease of setup and operation.
