Digital Light Lab is proud to announce the AccuCure Rheometer, an innovative UV illumination system adapted directly for use with leading rheometers. It is directly adaptable to the rheometer, providing an easily installed, non-invasive means of delivering the necessary UV illumination to the sample while the measurement is operational. It operates at a user-defined wavelength, intensity, and exposure time. The module can be programmed to irradiate a dynamically changing intensity and duration to closely match a desired profile, providing accurate, repeatable results.
The AccuCure Rheometer has multi-channel long-life LED light banks that are independently controlled by the rheometer or a supplied software utility. The module includes built-in radiometers that constantly monitor, control, and display the intensity of each light bank. Short- and long-term intensity drifts are minimized by built-in active feedback control.
The AccuCure Rheometer is a USB device and has been designed from the ground up to be controlled by the rheometer software. This feature allows the module to integrate seamlessly into a thermal analysis environment. Likewise, a stand-alone utility is provided for controlling the AccuCure Rheometer from a Microsoft Windows XP or Vista computer. The utility allows for setting the intensity by specifying the desired wattage and includes a user-defined ramp rate and custom-defined complete light intensity profiles from an easy-to-navigate interface.
